The beauty about Paris, well, one of the many, it’s a culinary mecca. Charlotte and I visited Caffè Stern, a swanky little establishment in the Passage des Panoramas, serving Venetian dishes, and… experienced the most delicious cuisine.
The cafe is owned by David Lanher, famous for such trendy Parisian establishments, like Racines, Vivant and Paradis. Lanher, with help from Philippe Stark, converted an old engraving store into a hip Italian restaurant.
Caffè Stern offers a wide variety of authentic Italian coffee preparations made with coffee selected by Gianni Frasi and prepared in a beautiful Neapolitan coffee maker.
The service and food are excellent, and the lovely refurbished building is a delight to witness. Charlotte had the risotto with porcini mushrooms and shaved white truffle, and I the veal Milanese – Mamma Mia!
