The cafe is owned by David Lanher, famous for such trendy Parisian establishments, like Racines, Vivant and Paradis. Lanher, with help from Philippe Stark, converted an old engraving store into a hip Italian restaurant.
Caffè Stern offers a wide variety of authentic Italian coffee preparations made with coffee selected by Gianni Frasi and prepared in a beautiful Neapolitan coffee maker.
The service and food are excellent, and the lovely refurbished building is a delight to witness. Charlotte had the risotto with porcini mushrooms and shaved white truffle, and I the veal Milanese – Mamma Mia!
